Cookie Policy

Last updated: 27 February 2026 · djcuebridge.com

1. Overview

DJ Cue Bridge (djcuebridge.com) is a 100% client-side web application. All processing happens inside your browser — no files are ever uploaded to our servers, and no personal data is collected.

✅ Current status: no cookies, no tracking

As of the last-updated date above, DJ Cue Bridge does not set any cookies and does not use any third-party analytics or advertising services.

2. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by a website. Cookies can be session cookies (deleted when you close the browser) or persistent cookies (retained across sessions). They are used for purposes such as keeping you logged in, remembering preferences, and collecting analytics data.

3. Browser storage (not cookies)

DJ Cue Bridge may use the browser's sessionStorage and localStorage to temporarily hold your in-app state (e.g. which codec you selected, the list of parsed tracks). This data:

  • Never leaves your device.
  • Contains no personally identifiable information.
  • Is cleared whenever you close the tab or click "Start over".
  • Is not accessible to any third party.

You can inspect or clear this data at any time via your browser's Developer Tools → Application → Storage.

4. Future use of Google Analytics

⚠️ Google Analytics is not yet active on this site. This section describes how we intend to implement it if and when we enable it.

We may integrate Google Analytics 4 (GA4) in the future to understand anonymous usage patterns (e.g. which conversion routes are most popular) and improve the tool.

If and when GA4 is activated:

  • A cookie consent banner will appear on your first visit, and GA4 will only be loaded after you explicitly accept.
  • We will configure GA4 with IP anonymisation (anonymize_ip: true) and disable advertising features.
  • GA4 will set cookies such as _ga, _ga_XXXXXXXX and _gid to distinguish users and sessions (persistent up to 2 years).
  • Data will be processed by Google LLC under the Google Analytics Terms of Service and their standard contractual clauses for EU data transfers.

You can learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

6. Your rights (GDPR / EU users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including: the right to access, rectify, or erase any personal data we hold; the right to restrict or object to processing; and the right to data portability.

Because DJ Cue Bridge currently collects no personal data, there is nothing to exercise these rights against at this time. If that changes (e.g. GA4 is enabled), this policy will be updated and a consent mechanism will be put in place before any data collection begins.

7. How to manage cookies in your browser

You can set your browser to refuse all or some cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies some parts of websites may become inaccessible or not function properly. DJ Cue Bridge will continue to function fully regardless of cookie settings, since it does not depend on cookies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
